Welcome back Apex Insiders! Last time I wrote my first article on the ROC Limited format (which I love) about why I think Uni-Mind should be banned from it. However that was before he was put on the Watchlist. Now it’s probably best to just wait and see what happens with the Watchlist. This time I just want to go through various archetypes I think that will define limited to help you get a start in preparing for the format. The ROCs will be starting up again very soon and most will be Limited. For the purposes of this article, I’m going to leave Uni-Mind out of the picture (mostly). If he’s not banned and unchanged, he’s without a doubt the strongest option in my opinion (check out my last article to see why!). If he’s not banned and unchanged and you AREN’T playing him, it’s probably either because you don’t care about losing to him or you’re playing some specific anti-Uni team. Some other people disagree with me, but that’s how I see it. However, it’s very likely that by the time the tournaments start, he will be changed somehow and nowhere near as bad. So a lot of the stuff I talk about here is currently inferior to Uni-Mind, but that should change soon. Without further ado..
