Another 400pt event, another win for the Foot Clan; more specifically, Shredders. This field had some interesting builds as 400 points does give more room to be creative. It was still a lot of the same teams, but Daniel Powell had a great Midnight Sons Mystical team, which finished in second place, while Jacob Bishop sported a Venompool for the first time. John Grout’s winning Shredder team had Mxy as back-up and was able to beat Dan’s unique team. Congratulations, John!
Analysis:
1st Place – John Grout
Aside from the same archetypes, there were some variations. The aforementioned Venompool on Jacob’s winning team supplemented the Shredders, while Dan played a whole new team, abusing the Midnight Sons ATA for added protection. Deadpool set is starting to make a splash as players are finding more about the format as time goes on.
