The first Regional of the season came and went with the usual Armaggon team winning… wait what? That’s right, Ricky Kirk proved that there are still some innovation in this format as his Scientist theme team, lead by Armaggon, wins the first Regional in New York! Congratulations, Ricky!
Analysis:
1st Place – Ricky Kirk
Jakeem and Krang are still the favorites, but there are some unique builds starting to come out, starting with Ricky’s Armaggon. The tent-pole was much-talked about when it was spoiled, but has not really made many waves until now. A couple of new ideas also came out in the form of Unicorn Deadpool and a AoA Magneto team that doesn’t rely on Jakeem. We will see if this has any impact on the Majestix Regional this upcoming weekend.
