Single-Elimination Bracket
The second tournament of the new format saw another small turnout, with 14 players showing up. The format was still diverse as Lex Luthor, Quinjet, Krang, and Nick Fury teams were the taste of the day. In the end, Richard Medina’s take on George Massu’s Lex Luthor team beat Team Majestix member Justino Jimenez’s Nick Fury/SHIELD team in the Finals to claim the Raleigh Super Qualifier!

Analysis:
The usual suspects were in attendance as Krang, Quinjet, and Nick Fury all made good appearances. For the second week in a row, it was a relatively “new” team that took down the tournament. Last week it was an old familiar face in Koriand’r, while this week it’s Lex Luthor and his Subterfuge token. Being nearly unhittable helped Richard pull of wins as he is essentially guaranteed first shot with Lex. With two big tournaments coming up next week, we should see more innovation in the format.
