Hello there Apex Insiders! I’m back once again writing for a build that I will be using in a tournament. A lot of the time, when I would write these articles, the team is very competitive and is looking to win every game. Well, this one is going to be an exception to that.
This weekend is the Scott Porter Invitational “Family is Everything” Silver Age tournament. The entire point of this event is to raise money for Huntington’s Disease research. The slogan for the HDSA is “Family is Everything” so Scott whipped up a format that requires you to have at least two figures on your force that are related. The prizing for this event is fantastic! It is absolutely worth trying to go hard for the build. However, they also included fellowship prizing to help drive people to focusing more heavily on the theme of the event. There are many players who played the bare minimum to be able to play some really staunch teams. There are just as many, or more players who really went hard on the theme of the event. Myself included! While this isn’t a cause that personally effects me, it is definitely one that deserves the support of as many people as possible. Today, I will be going over the family that I chose to represent in the event, and what the team can do! I think that it’s important to also show that these theme style teams can still have a bit of potential to rock the scene a bit!
