Initial skepticism was understandable - the bar for new sets was set remarkably high by Marvel’s previous set, Black Panther and the Illuminati, which results at 2019 Nationals and World’s proved was one of the most impactful sets to come out in years. But while XDPS may not have obvious game-changers on the level of Kobik, Trader and Gardener, there are plenty of figures within it that will likely have a huge impact on Modern Age play.
