Mississippi’s first ROC Super Qualifier was a 400pt Modern Age Limited tournament. Team Stratagem members Wesley Summers, Edwin Lopez, and Howard Brock made the trip, with Wesley’s unique Joker team taking the tournament, defeating perennial top performer Zak Spraggon in the Finals.
Analysis:
1st Place – Wesley Summers
With an extra 100 points to experiment with, Wesley was able to come up with a unique team featuring “vacation” Joker as the centerpiece. A couple of Venompools also made an appearance as did Fenris and Merc With a Mouth. Other than that, it was more of the same metagame as the 300 format, with Nick Fury seeing more action.
