This was the first look into the 400pt Modern Age Limited format. It turns out it is very similar to the 300pt format, but just with more “power.” Easton took his runner-up team from the Space Cadets SQ and suped it up by adding in Earth X Captain America. His pog-generating team was able to outlast the field, taking down Zak Spraggon’s Overdrive-carrying, hyper-aggressive team. This was a nice and fresh format and it won’t be the last! Congratulations to Easton Brock!
Analysis:
1st Place – Easton Brock
Like I mentioned above, this format was mostly the same, just with more power. Players can just fit more into their already built teams. The usual suspects in Krang, Jakeem, and Nick Fury all showed up, while support pieces in Klarion and Green Lantern and Nighthawk Prime made up the bulk of the rest of the figures played. It will be interesting to see how Deadpool impacts this format in a week.
