Hello everyone! This will be a little different Clix O’ the Week, here we will talk about every single weapon that we had on the The Mighty Thor set! All 26 weapons will be explained and what kind of user they want, so have a seat and get your popcorn! For better understanding they will be sorted by point cost, this way is easier to see what you team can get for the points.

2 TMTS018 Mace: The cheapest of all Equips, for only 2 points your figure has KNOCKBACK, pretty good if you have some points to spare and wants a little extra damage or some way to avoid Plasticity problems to your Hypersonic user, UXM Quicksilver can use it really well to get some extra damage and to split teams.

3 TMTS002 Knobbed Mace: Hogun’s weapon is amazing for high defense close combat fighters, when you hit an opposing character with a close attack, he will have -2 Attack during the next turn, so if you have a strong close combat fighter, for only 3 points this can get you a huge advantage against a tent-pole team. This combined with the Red Son Wonder Woman and your opponent will have a hard time trying to hit something.

3 TMTS021 Axe: This guy raises your critical hit range to 10-12 instead of only 12! This basically makes your critical hits change from 2.78% to 16.7%! Combine him with some Probability Control or some low attack figures that have a hard time to hit attacks, and you will have a critical hit machine! Or characters that make multiple strikes can use this really well, wait for Doctor Octopus make 4 attacks with high-critical ratio!

3 TMTS022 Staff: The staff is another way for Hypersonic characters to avoid the need to Break Away roll, giving Giant Reach 2 can be really useful and safer than the Mace, but you lose the extra damage that knockback provides.

3 TMTS007 Dueling Sword: This sword will give to his owner +2 attack value when targeting an opposing character that isn’t adjacent to any other character, friendly or opposing, that isn’t the attacker. Looks pretty impressive but the situation to trigger it isn’t so easy. For only 3 points this sword is really worthy and can be amazing, in the right hands this can destroy even the highest defense enemies, some Quake users like Hulk can make a really good use of it, since once your opponent sees the Quake, he will avoid letting his figures too close; 50pt Hulk from Thor starter can reach a 14-Attack when using this blade!

3 TMTS017 Hammer: This looks similar to the Axe, but instead of giving critical hits, when you roll 10-12 you will give the hit character an action token; when you compare it to the axe, you will see the same of Staff x Mace. You need to see what your team needs, more control or more damage output.

4 TMTS019 Bladed Hammer: This a mix of the Hammer and the Axe, raising your critical ration from 11-12, instead of 10-12, but when you make a critical hit you will give the target an action token! So if you’re in doubt about which weapon to use, you go for this one!

4 TMTS024 Sword: Pretty simple, but devastating, getting Blades/Claws/Fangs for only 4 points is incredible, lots of Flurry users will be holding this weapon now! So, do you remember that Raphael that has Flurry and deals penetrating damage from TMNT1? Be prepared, his damage output is about to go insane!

4 TMTS102 Asgardian Shield: Really cheap option for protection, Energy Shield/Deflection for only 4 points is really nice, if you have a character that doesn’t want to get close like Title Thor, this can be really strong.

5 TMTS003 Frogjolnir: This will turn your character into a tiny, and modify his attack and defense by +1 when in water, so basically a +2 defense! And your character will be able to be carried; really simple but also really good, if you’re going on a Soldier theme, which has a really few fliers, you can make your Nick Fury tiny!

5 TMTS023 Spear: Like the Staff, it will give Giant Reach 2, but not only that, you can use the spear as the light object during an attack! Don’t forget that this will destroy the Spear after the use!

 

6 TMTS101 Adamantium Ball and Chain: This one is a little tricky to use but can be devastating, when equipped, your character will have -3 speed. When you hit, don’t need to be in a close attack, you can KO the object and one hit character will have -3 speed for the rest of the game! Give this to a KC Shazam! Which values can’t be modified, and see your opponent trying to get him with a -3 speed!

7 TMTS004 Frey: Frey is a more expensive version of the Sword, giving not only Blades/Claws/Fangs but also the minimum result will be the character printed damage value! So, don’t worry of having bad rolls on your blade!

7 TMTS006 Mirror of Mysolljh: This mirror is a high-cost object, but also be a high-reward, giving Shape Change that succeeds on 3-6 is amazing, but if you fail the mirror is KO’d. Most of the characters enjoy this kind of protection, so if you have free points, use it.

10 TMTS020 Healing Casket: You need to add a healer on your team, but don’t have enough points for Night Nurse or doesn’t want to break the theme? Here is your option, for 10 points you give Support for any figure, but if you roll 1, you KO the Healing Casket.

10 TMTS005 Enchanted Crowbar: Now one of the most interesting Equip in the whole set. The crowbar is the defense breaker, giving Exploit Weakness and hit characters that can use Invincible or Impervious will use Invulnerability instead! This doesn’t only make all your Close attacks penetrating, with no way of being reduced by Invincible; it also works for ranged attacks! Perfect for ranged attackers to get rid of annoying defense powers. Characters like Armaggon which can deal a huge damage using objects doesn’t have a problem, and since the crowbar also helps for ranged, on mid dial the Armaggon’s Psychic Blast will avoid even Invincible!

10 TMTS008 Enchanted Ball and Chain: Another Wrecking Crew weapon, it not only gives you Quake, but it gives you full damage Quake! High damage close combat fighters just love this, DKR Superman or KC Superman that has a really high damage can make insane use of this.

10 TMTS010 Thunderstrike: This is another versatile Weapon, nearly any character can use it. It will give Force Blast, Leap/Climb and when you knockback an opposing character at least 1 square, after actions resolve you will heal your figure 1 click. This is incredible because you can heal even when using ranged attacks! If you were looking for a way to keep your Jakeem alive in the Limited format, you found your answer!

10 TMTS011 Stormbreaker: Beta Ray Bill’s weapon is simple but awesome, giving Quake, Energy Explosion and +2 Range can be great on the right character. Nick Fury can use this +2 Range really well, and if he targets the highest point character the damage of the Energy Explosion will be penetrating! And if you opponents base him, you can Quake the figures away!

10 TMTS009 Mjolnir: Here we have the big guy, the one that everyone wants and everyone is talking about! “Meow Meow” will allow you to make Close attacks using your Range value and LoF, and when you hit an adjacent character, you will have a +1 Attack and Damage bonus! Dark Knight Return Superman can make a 19 squares Charge with 13-Attack and 7-Damage and knockback the target 7 squares, pretty scary right?

10 TMTS001 Bloodaxe: Hulk make a new friend with this guy, giving Steal Energy, Battle Fury and Exploit Weakness, the ADW Hulk Worldbreaker will have Precision Strike\Battle Fury\Exploit Weakness top dial, and the combination of a really strong stop click with Steal Energy is great.

10 TMTS013 Jarnbjorn: The best way to get critical hits, this guy will raise your critical chance to 9-12 instead of the only 12. This is just nuts, crazy, insane, give it to low attack figures to make sure they will hit the big guys, or give to a strong fighter like Doctor Octopus get a higher damage output! With a 27% chance of having a critical hit the 4 strikes that Doctor Octopus can make are more interesting now.

10 TMTS015 Gungnir: This is a tricky and risky one, your attacks can’t be rerolled, which means, this can be good to avoid your opponents re-roll (or Mxy effect), but can be bad, since you will be unable to avoid a critical miss if you roll it. But this is not the only thing that Gungnir does; you can also use it as an object during the attack, not only giving you the +1 damage of the light object, but also having +3 attack and the damage will be penetrating! It will be for a single hit, so you have to make sure it will be a worthy hit.

10 TMTS016 Dragonfang: Another version of the Sword, but this time, the most expensive version will not give you only Blades/Claws/Fangs, it will also allow you to re-roll the result once per turn!

12 TMTS012 Casket of Ancient Winters: We arrive at the most expensive items in this set, the two 12 points items, this is the trickiest and hardest Equip to use in the entire set. You will give the character a POWER, and if he is 100 points or more you will give him 3 Fimbulwinter tokens, at the end of each players turn you will remove 1 of these tokens from the character. So, one on the end of your turn, another on the end of your opponents turn, and the last one on the end of your next turn. If you do give an action tokens to each of the ACTIVE PLAYER characters within 7 squares without the Asgardian, Cosmic or Deity keywords. When there are no more Fimbulwinter tokens you KO the Casket. If you noticed, you will need a team with those keywords to avoid being token’d by the Casket, because your figures will receive 2 tokens and you opponents only one; one fun fact is that, before removing the last Fimbulwinter token, you can make a power action to get +3 tokens. This item can give a interesting lock to your opponents figures, but you need to think really well before using it, since he’s not only really expensive to put in the map, but he can also ruin your own game if placed wrong.

12 TMTS014 Loki’s Staff: Mind Control and Shape Change, really simple, really strong, no drawbacks for using this guy. ADW Chase Hawkeye can Mind Control and entire team if using this one!
