The current Modern Age metagame has evolved to massive, and varied, Spider-Family Themed Teams. From Soldiers to Scientists, and Rulers to Robots, the new Spider-Family Chases have completely changed and added to the fabric of the metagame, for better or for worse. With so many Themed Teams, it’s become an “arms” race, so to speak, with Themed Team numbers starting at a minimum of +5 and going up to +8, and sometimes even more! Aside from getting their preferred map, many teams really need to get their equipment on Turn 1, and equipped to their characters before it gets taken away (or worse, destroyed). This is especially true for characters like Valeria Von Doom, who needs her Spin Ring to make her not only effective, but basically work. The same goes for Vulture prime, who needs the Ock Arms in order for him to “get going.”
