Released in late 2013, the Invincible Iron Man set unleashed a number of important and powerful pieces upon the modern competitive scene. The most winning piece was undoubtedly IIM051 Iron Pharaoh — before being on the wrong end of the Q4 2014 watchlist. The most notable victory is the 2014 World Championship victory by Patrick Yapjoco. To win the event, Patrick defeated Phil Isaacson, Jr who was playing a team focused around another star from the same set — IIM001b Silver Centurion, a strong piece that was piloted to victory in WizKids Open and ROC events.
