August 7th is quickly approaching, which means all of Regenesis becomes Modern legal. Equally important, however is that all of the LE Mandarin Ring Equipment will be legal as of that date. Equipment have a special place in the meta right now, in many ways filling the hole left behind when Resources were largely discontinued. Being able to upgrade a figure in a particular way by giving them the right equipment allows players to shore up weaknesses or capitalize on strengths, and in either case give themselves a very strong edge.
In this article I am going to go through the ten Mandarin Rings and walk through their relative strengths and weaknesses.
