While I would like to be able to move directly into looking at various strategies and effects, it will be hard for me to do so without first laying out some groundwork which will prove useful. For those who couldn’t tell from the title, this discussion will use principles from math and economics. Anyone who understands or knows what Expected Value is, and how to calculate it can skip to the second half of this article. Because the first half will just be explaining the principles for those who aren’t familiar.
