For the vast majority of the rules, the rule itself and its implication are pretty straightforward. Once shown the rule, everyone can basically agree on what happens most of the time. Most disagreements end up being due to vague or ambiguous wording. However, sometimes it is not the fundamental rule itself that is particularly in question but its implication in practice. This article walks through one of the less obvious interactions in Heroclix, namely what happens when resolving an effect when part of the effect is illegal or useless.
