The first regular Modern Age tournament of the season has come and gone, and Lane Miller wins with… Jack Frost? With much hype when he was spoiled, many players have been trying to break Jack Frost for months now. Perhaps in a new format, he could shine? Lane certainly showed he can win with him. It was a small turnout, but with the full Modern Age game elements at players’ disposal, you can be rest assured that creativity will run high in this format. Congrats Lane!
Analysis:
Of course Jakeem and Krang are still good in this format, especially with entities and resources available to them. Aside from Jack Frost with ID Cards, Evan Horad’s 4th place team is something to behold. Using a version of undying in the Civil War LEs. it is very difficult to finish of this team. This also shows that there are other options than just Krang and Jakeem.
