Single-Elimination Bracket
The 4th tournament of the new format brings us to Tulsa, Oklahoma, this time a Regional. Dice Addiction is known to run some of the best tournaments and most competitive in the ROC circuit, and this event was no exception. The top 5 finishers are all known and significant players on the circuit, including 2015 World Champion Paris Gordon, and The Quarry Podcast host Edward Shelton. In the end, however, Joshua Earnest, one of the most prolific players on the circuit beat out fellow Apex Insider writer Paris to claim his Regional win in a closely contested game. He wrote about his team here, so it was no surprise. With this, Josh has upped his resume to include 5 SQ wins, 2 States wins, and now a Regional win.

Analysis:
Josh is a talented team-builder, often coming up with unique builds to battle the format. This was no exception as he played an innovative Red Son Wonder Woman team that was designed to bring out and protect Proteus. We also see Quinjet teams in this Top 8 as Paris piloted one to a Runner-Up finish, while Ken Newell finished 5th and Mike Hoffman finished 6th. Lex Luthor and Krang teams contiue to put up good finishes as Edward Shelton of Team Phoenix Nest played Lex to a 3rd Place finish, and Juan Alvarado played Krang Gang to a 7th Place finish. The format has seemed to form at this point (we now know the usual suspects in the format) until the release of Superior Foes of Spider-Man in a couple of weeks, which should shake up the format quite a bit.
