We had 3 events last weekend that ran new Modern Age! We get a glimpse of what the new landscape will look like going forward and to play and test against. Dice Addiction had a massive 32-player event, Youngtown had their win-a-brick event, and ROC Online ran the Scott Porter Modern Age Invitational. A great weekend of clix for sure!
Analysis:
Wonder Woman has definitely made a splash, with Sky Tyrant/Secret Six and the Flashes being played on many teams. X-Men pieces are still proving to be good, while Future Foundation’s main contributor(s), Dr. Doom is the groundwork for many a team. We still see some “old school” Avenger teams as well. There are plenty of great ideas and many different teams to build around, but one thing is for certain: the Alpha Strike teams seem to be where it’s at right now.
