We are back at it again with the last minute planning. That seems to be our MO. We were just going to have a practice tournament at the store, but then Alyssa reminds me that the Oregon Regional was coming up… so after some little convincing we book everything on Thursday morning for a Friday evening departure! Since I don’t play the same team twice (usually), I decided to go with Monsters this time, and let her play my Mystical team. I haven’t played Sky Tyrant before so I figure why not see what all the fuss was about. I also wanted to bring Shredders back in some form, so I went with Mini Shredder for extra pinging as well as being able to call in Green Arrow (1-arm Ollie!). I round out the other pieces, do some slight testing and we are off. We arrive very late and get only a few hours of sleep before we have to go to the venue, which is a site to behold, let me tell you! With 19 players registered, it’s off to Round 1!
