The unofficial Peruvian National Championship happened a couple of weeks ago, but the results are in. Alonso Pittman won with Derek Thompson’s Icebox team, defeating a Krang Bat-Mite team played by Gabriel Cedron. The field was as expected with Quinjets and Krang showing in force.

Analysis:
Iceman has been out of the limelight as of late, but Alonso showed that it is still very potent. Nighthawk Prime on almost any team is going to give many teams fits, especially a Krang team, which relies on combat boosts. Quinjet and Krang seem to be the flavor in Peru, but this might have been before the Superior Foes of Spider-Man set was in regular circulation in that region.
